Azerbaijan, Japan discuss student exchange programmes PHOTO
Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Work with the Diaspora Fuad Muradov, who is on a visit to Japan, has met with the leadership and teaching staff of Keio University.
During the meeting the guest was informed about the history of the university, the stages of development and the disciplines, according to Azertag.
Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, Muradov spoke about the activity of the committee, its international relations and the implemented projects.
The exchange of students between Keio University and Azerbaijani universities, the establishment of cooperation between the university and the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora and other issues were discussed at the meeting.
Another meeting was held with the management and teaching staff of Tokai University. While making a presentation about Azerbaijan, the chairman of the committee informed about the history of Azerbaijan’s statehood and the stages of development, after which there was a Q&A session.
Head of the Azerbaijan-Japan Friendship Centre, Professor Khalil Kalantar also attended the event. The issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
