Azerbaijan joins steering committee at Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development PHOTO

Azerbaijan has been represented at the 13th Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development, organised by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in Bangkok, Thailand.

According to the Ministry of Economy, Azerbaijan was elected as a member of the forum’s Steering Committee.

The country is represented by Huseyn Huseynov, Adviser to the Minister of Economy, who serves as Vice-Chair of the forum.

The event brings together more than 1,200 participants, including government officials, representatives of international organisations, the private sector, and non-governmental organisations from over 40 countries.

Discussions at the forum focus on current challenges, priorities, and opportunities for collaboration in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals across the Asia-Pacific region.
