Azerbaijan joins UN General Assembly presidential initiative

Azerbaijan joined the initiative of the UN General Assembly on gender equality, accoding to Spokeswoman of the UN General Assembly Speaker Paulina Kubiak.

She said that the campaign is held on the joint initiative of President of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly Csaba Körösi and UN Women Executive Director Seema Bacchus, Report informs.

Kubiak added that the social project aims to promote the UN online training on gender equality.

Along with Azerbaijan, 34 member countries of the world organization joined the campaign.

The first stage of the initiative will last until June 30.
