Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan eye deeper gas cooperation PHOTO

Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz, Alibek Zhamauov, and President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Rovshan Najaf, have discussed prospects for deepening cooperation in the gas sector during a meeting held in Ashgabat.

The talks took place on the sidelines of the scientific and practical conference titled “Turkmenistan – People’s Republic of China: 20 Years of Strategic Cooperation in the Gas Sector,” Caliber.Az reports, citing QazaqGaz.

During the visit, Zhamauov also held separate meetings with Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmengaz,  cgair of the Board of Directors of CNPC Dai Houliang.

“The parties discussed the current state and future prospects of cooperation in the gas sector, including further strengthening partnership ties and advancing joint initiatives,” the company said in a statement.
