Azerbaijan, Kenya launch space cooperation

Azerbaijani satellite operator Azercosmos, and Kenyan telecommunications operator Communications Carrier (CommCarrier) have signed a long-term cooperation accord.

According to the agreement, starting from January 24, the Kenyan government agencies have begun using satellite Internet service via Azerspace-2 communication satellite, Azertag reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

CommCarrier will serve partners in the Central and East Africa region on the KU-band Azerspace-2 satellite.
