Azerbaijan, Luxembourg discuss financial sector training
The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the Luxembourg Agency for the Transfer of Financial Technologies (ATTF) have held talks focused on expanding cooperation in financial sector training, fintech development, and capacity building.
According to the CBA, an ATTF delegation met with Shahin Mahmudzada, Director General of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, to review ongoing training programmes supported by the Luxembourg agency and to assess Azerbaijan’s current professional development needs in the financial sector, Caliber.Az reports.
During the visit, ATTF representatives also held meetings with the Azerbaijan Banking Association, the Azerbaijan Insurance Association, the Azerbaijan Microfinance Association, and the Azerbaijan Fintech Association, as well as with training and development units of local banks.
The discussions included feedback on existing ATTF-backed courses, identification of priority training areas, and exchanges of views on future cooperation aimed at strengthening human capital and technological expertise in Azerbaijan’s financial system.
