Azerbaijan, Mexico explore new tourism partnership opportunities
Fuad Naghiyev, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan, met with Mexico’s ambassador to Baku, Maria Victoria Romero Caballero, to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation in tourism.
The ambassador shared plans to organise a familiarisation trip to Mexico for a delegation representing Azerbaijan’s tourism sector, Caliber.Az reports via the State Tourism Agency.
She also invited Naghiyev to participate in the “Tianguis Turistico Mexico 2026” exhibition, one of Latin America’s largest and most prestigious tourism events, scheduled in Acapulco from April 27 to 30.
Naghiyev expressed Azerbaijan’s readiness to host leading Mexican bloggers and media representatives. The sides also exchanged views on opportunities for tourism cooperation within the framework of the UN and other international organisations.
