Azerbaijan, Moldova mull green energy exports, investment opportunities at COP29

Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Moldovan Energy Minister Victor Parlicov on the margins of the ongoing COP29 conference in Baku.

The two officials discussed the current state and potential development of bilateral economic relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova, Caliber.Az reports.

Emphasis was placed on expanding the use of alternative energy sources, promoting a sustainable economy, and aligning business strategies with evolving geo-economic requirements.

The meeting also focused on exploring opportunities to enhance the efficiency of economic ties between the two countries. Key areas of discussion included collaboration in the fields of industry, energy, and transport, as well as the prospects for joint initiatives in these sectors.

The ministers also exchanged views on the potential for green energy exports and strategies to promote investment between Azerbaijan and Moldova.
