Azerbaijan, Morocco discuss expanding trade, investment ties PHOTO

Azerbaijani Ambassador Nazim Samadov met with Omar Hejira, Morocco’s Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Rabat stated.

According to the diplomatic mission, the meeting focused on expanding economic cooperation and trade relations between Azerbaijan and Morocco, as well as increasing bilateral trade turnover, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

The parties also discussed practical steps to enhance trade relations and investment opportunities, including the implementation of a joint action plan.

“The importance of the first Azerbaijan-Morocco Business Forum, held in Rabat in November 2023, was noted, and it was emphasised that the existing legal and contractual framework provides favourable conditions for development and cooperation,” the embassy said.
