Azerbaijan, Netherlands to hold political consultations
Marcel de Vink, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, is currently on a visit to Azerbaijan for political consultations between the two countries.
The discussions during the consultations are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in various political and diplomatic areas, Caliber.Az reports citing the Dutch Embassy in Baku.
The visit reflects the ongoing commitment to fostering ties between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands, with both countries seeking to further their collaboration on the global stage.
Earlier, on January 30, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Netherlands Mammad Ahmadzada informed King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands about the biased campaign raging against Azerbaijan in several Western countries.
During the ceremony of presenting credentials, Ahmadzada said that several Western countries carry out anti-Azerbaijani campaigns amidst the country's restoration of its territorial integrity.
The ambassador also informed the king about Issues related to the regional situation and Baku's position in the process of normalising Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on strengthening the political dialogue between the two countries, opportunities for cooperation in the economic and humanitarian spheres, energy and transport projects implemented at the initiative of Azerbaijan.
