Azerbaijan, OPEC Fund review potential green and water-related projects
Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has met with the President of the OPEC Fund for International Development, Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, to discuss key areas of cooperation, according to a post on his X account.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the annual sessions of the Islamic Development Bank Group. The discussions focused on priority directions of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the OPEC Fund, including the implementation of Country Partnership Frameworks for 2025–2030, Jabbarov said.
“Particular attention was given to the implementation of the Country Partnership Framework for 2025–2030, initiatives aimed at improving water supply, social infrastructure, and environmental sustainability, as well as support for the private sector and opportunities related to regional connectivity projects,” the post read.
