Azerbaijan, Pakistan move to strengthen digital technology ties
Azerbaijan and Pakistan have discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in artificial intelligence and digital technologies during a high-level meeting in Pakistan.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, met with Ali Dar, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Punjab Province, to explore opportunities for collaboration in emerging technology sectors.
According to Caliber.Az, the meeting was reported by Pakistan’s Office of Artificial Intelligence and Special Initiatives on X.
"H.E. Mr. Khazar Farhadov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, visited The Office of AI and Special Initiatives, and met with Advisor to CM, Ali Dar to explore collaboration opportunities in AI and key sectors including CBD Punjab as a potential hub for Pakistan-Azerbaijan business and investment ties. The Ambassador highlighted the sister city relationship between Lahore and Nakhchivan as a foundation for deeper learning and economic partnerships between the two nations," the post reads.
