Azerbaijan: Population in Karabakh, East Zangezur exceeds 80,000

Over 80,000 people are currently living in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions as of early April this year.

Under the government’s “Great Return” program, 31,379 people have returned to their homes Caliber.Az reports, citing the State Statistics Committee.

The data shows that the total number of residents living in the liberated territories has reached 81,449 people, the Committee said.
