Azerbaijan produces nearly 17 million tonnes of oil since early 2024

Azerbaijan produced 16.95 million tonnes of crude oil, including gas condensate, in the first seven months of 2024, marking a 4.4% decrease compared to the same period last year.

The production of marketable oil also saw a decline, falling by 4.3% to reach 16.91 million tonnes, Caliber.Az reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.

For July alone, oil production was 2.5 million tonnes, maintaining the same level as July 2023.

In 2023, Azerbaijan’s total oil production, including gas condensate, amounted to 30.19 million tonnes, reflecting a 7.5% decline from the previous year.

The Azerbaijani government has projected that oil production with condensate for 2024 will be around 30 million tonnes.
