A delegation led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, chairman of Azerbaijan's State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan (ASAN service), is participating in the United Nations Public Service Forum in Tbilisi, highlighting the country's public service model to international counterparts.
The forum, held under the theme "Transforming Public Institutions: Advancing Innovation, Participation and Inclusion", brought together senior officials from across the world, including Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Li Junhua.
During the event, Mehdiyev held bilateral meetings with officials from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, as well as Georgia's Minister of Justice, according to local media.
Representatives from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh expressed interest in adopting elements of the ASAN xidmət model after receiving detailed presentations on its operations and achievements, the report said.
