Azerbaijan promotes its tourism potential across China PHOTO
Azerbaijan has continued to actively promote its tourism potential in China, with the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, in cooperation with China Travel Group (CTG), organizing a series of professional seminars in December in the cities of Jinan, Shijiazhuang, and Taiyuan.
The events brought together more than 300 representatives of China’s tourism industry. The seminars featured targeted presentations designed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector and expand partnerships between Azerbaijani and Chinese travel operators, Caliber.Az reports, citing State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan.
During the sessions, participants were introduced to Azerbaijan’s tourism products tailored specifically for the Chinese market, alongside presentations highlighting the country’s rich cultural and historical heritage and its key tourist routes.
The State Tourism Agency noted that from January to November this year, Azerbaijan welcomed 60,636 visitors from China—an increase of 43.1 percent compared with the same period last year—reflecting growing interest among Chinese travelers in the country’s tourism offerings.
