Azerbaijan reduces imports of electrotechnical products from Türkiye

09 March 2025 10:47

Baku has slightly decreased its imports of electrical products from Türkiye in the first two months of 2024, according to the Turkish Exporters' Assembly.

From January to February, Azerbaijan imported electrical products from the neighbouring country worth $31.391 million, marking a 3.7% decline compared to the same period in 2023, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

In February alone, the imports amounted to $13.812 million, a significant drop of 17.5% year-on-year.

Despite the decrease in Azerbaijan's imports, Türkiye's overall exports of electrical products showed a modest increase. In the first two months of 2024, the sector's exports grew by 1.1% year-on-year, reaching $2.521 billion. February's exports also saw a slight uptick of 0.8%, totaling $1.296 billion.
