Azerbaijan reviews tourism sector challenges at economic council meeting
Azerbaijan’s Economic Council held a meeting on May 8 chaired by Prime Minister Ali Asadov to discuss the current state of the country’s tourism sector, development challenges, and future growth priorities.
According to Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers, participants reviewed measures aimed at expanding the tourism market, boosting the sector’s competitiveness, and addressing broader economic issues linked to tourism development, Caliber.Az reports.
Fuad Naghiyev, head of the State Tourism Agency, delivered a presentation on the agenda item, while members of the Economic Council and invited participants also shared their views during the discussions.
Following the meeting, the council adopted a number of decisions related to tourism sector development and issued instructions to relevant government agencies for further implementation.
