Azerbaijan, Romania to bolster cooperation within regional, int'l organisations PHOTO
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Prime Minister of Romania Marcel Ciolacu within the framework of his official visit to Romania on 6 November.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the level of friendly ties and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Romania, stressing that mutual visits, high-level dialogue, as well as activity of political consultations will contribute to the development of cooperation between the two countries in economic, humanitarian, educational and other spheres, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Foreign Ministry.
The sides touched upon the importance of developing multifaceted strategic partnership, exchanged views on the development of inter-parliamentary relations, strengthening cooperation within regional and international organisations.
Bayramov informed the interlocutor about Azerbaijan's plans to establish sustainable peace in the South Caucasus region and practical steps taken in this direction, as well as plans to normalise relations with Armenia.
The sides exchanged views on new areas of cooperation and other topics of mutual interest.
