Kazakh defence delegation tours Azerbaijan’s military facilities during visit PHOTO
A Kazakh delegation, led by Major General Fazilolla Badenov, has visited Azerbaijan this week and toured the Azerbaijan Defence Ministry's Battle Control Centre and the command posts of the Air Force and Naval Forces.
The visit was made as part of the 2025 bilateral cooperation plan between the Ministries of Defence of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.
The delegation's visit began with a solemn trip to the Alley of Martyrs, where they paid tribute to Azerbaijan's fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity.
The visitors laid flowers at the graves of these national martyrs to honour their memory.
During their visit, they were given a detailed briefing on the daily operations of Azerbaijan's military forces, including the coordination of troops during crises and emergencies. The delegation also had the opportunity to ask questions, which were addressed by their Azerbaijani counterparts. The importance of such mutual visits was highlighted in the discussions, with both sides emphasising their role in further enhancing military cooperation and fostering stronger ties between the two nations.
