Azerbaijan's AZAL wins Skytrax 2024 award for Best Regional Airline in Central Asia and CIS

Azerbaijan's national air carrier AZAL has once again confirmed its high status, winning the "Best Regional Airline in Central Asia and CIS" nomination at the Skytrax 2024 World Airline Awards.

Caliber.Az reports that the Skytrax award ceremony was held on 24 June at a gala event in London.

This important achievement confirms Azerbaijan Airlines' high level of service, putting it on par with the recognized leaders of the global aviation market.

"This recognition is the result of the hard work of the entire friendly team at Azerbaijan Airlines, striving to offer our passengers a world-class service. We are proud that our efforts have been recognized with such a prestigious award, testifying to the high confidence of our customers in our airline," President of Azerbaijan Airlines Samir Rzayev said.

According to him, receiving this award confirms AZAL's commitment to high standards of quality and customer service, strengthening the airline's position as a leader in the region and internationally.

The World Airline Awards are awarded by Skytrax, a British consulting agency and a global assessor of airline and airport service quality. The rating is determined based on the results of the world's largest passenger satisfaction survey.

It should be noted that passenger airline Azerbaijan Airlines also has a "4 Star" rating from Skytrax. This status is based on the results of an independent audit, which checks the quality of services offered by the airline in the sky and on the ground.
