Azerbaijan's boosts commercial gas production

Azerbaijan produced over 25 billion cubic metres of natural gas from January to June this year.

According to the State Statistics Committee, of this volume, the country produced over 19.14 billion cubic metres of commercial natural gas, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

During the reported period, natural gas production increased by 3.4 per cent compared to the same period last year, while marketable gas production increased by 5.3 per cent.

Over the past 6 months, Azerbaijan produced over 14.45 million tonnes of crude oil, including gas condensate. Of these, nearly 14.42 million tonnes of marketable crude oil was produced.

The volumes of crude oil and commercial oil production in the reporting period were 4.9 per cent less than in the first 6 months of 2023.
