Azerbaijan’s Central Bank chief discusses expanding partnership with IFC

Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov held a meeting with Wiebke Schloemer, the International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) Director for the Western Balkans and South Caucasus, on November 13 to discuss opportunities to expand partnership.

The sides exchanged views on IFC-supported initiatives underway in the country and on projects implemented within public-private partnership frameworks, Caliber.Az reports.

They also discussed the organisation’s plans to further contribute to Azerbaijan’s economic resilience.

The meeting also noted satisfaction with the current level of cooperation between the Central Bank and IFC, while discussing opportunities to expand their partnership.
