Azerbaijan’s dry cargo fleet significantly increases freight volumes PHOTO

Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company’s (ASCO) dry cargo fleet transported 1,083,130 tons of cargo in January-July 2026.

The figure was 39% higher than during the same period last year, when 770,366 tons of cargo were transported, the company’s press service told Caliber.Az.

In July alone, ASCO’s dry cargo vessels transported 188,825 tons of cargo, marking a 65% increase compared with July 2025.

ASCO currently operates a total of 16 dry cargo vessels, including 14 multipurpose vessels and two Handysize vessels.
