Azerbaijan’s economic council reviews business infrastructure concerns
A meeting of Azerbaijan’s Economic Council was held on April 10 under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Ali Asadov, the Cabinet of Ministers said.
The session focused on a range of issues raised by representatives of the business community, with particular attention given to challenges related to connecting enterprises to construction and utility infrastructure, Caliber.Az reports.
During the meeting, a report was presented by Natig Amirov, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan. Members of the Economic Council, along with invited officials, also took part in discussions.
Speakers included Minister of Justice Farid Ahmedov, Head of the State Property Service under the Ministry of Economy Metin Eynullaev, Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations Jabrail Khanlarov, and First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Namig Gummattov.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants reviewed proposals and exchanged views on improving the regulatory environment. It was decided to prepare amendments to draft legal and regulatory acts in order to address the issues raised by businesses and facilitate infrastructure connectivity for enterprises.
