Azerbaijan's economy minister, UN coordinator discuss 2026-2030 development goals
Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov met with Vladanka Andreeva, the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, to discuss the preparation of the new United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework for the period 2026-2030.
The meeting focused on aligning efforts for a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future for Azerbaijan. The UN Representation in Azerbaijan shared details of the meeting through a post on the social media platform X, Caliber.Az reports.
According to the UN's statement, the new Cooperation Framework will be central to guiding collective action towards achieving the UN’s sustainable development goals as the world approaches the final stretch towards 2030. "This new Cooperation Framework will help focus our joint efforts to ensure a greener and sustainable future for the people of Azerbaijan," the post noted.
