Azerbaijan’s economy minister discusses cooperation with UAE delegation
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has met with a delegation from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by Minister of State Saeed Al-Hajeri to discuss economic cooperation.
In a post on X, Jabbarov said he was pleased to welcome the delegation, and noted that the meeting highlighted the strengthening of the strategic partnership and explored new opportunities for expanding economic cooperation, Caliber.Az reports.

The discussions also covered the activities of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE, the strengthening of business ties.
According to the minister, they focused on the promotion of joint investments and cooperation in sectors including industry, energy, transport, tourism, and others.
Al-Hajeri also serves as co-chair of the Committee on Cooperation within the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates.
