Azerbaijan’s gas export revenues fall by more than 7%

Azerbaijan exported 14.428 billion cubic meters of natural gas in January-July 2026, up 0.1% from the same period last year, according to data from the State Customs Committee.

The data showed the value of the exported gas fell by 7.3% to $4.882 billion, Caliber.Az reports.

Natural gas accounted for 25.25% of Azerbaijan’s total exports during the reporting period, down from 34.6% in January-July 2025.

As previously reported, Azerbaijan exported 25.187 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2025, a 2.3% decline from the previous year.

The exports were valued at $8.821 billion, representing a 4.9% increase.
