Azerbaijan’s GDP per capita expected to nearly double by 2040, says CEBR

Azerbaijan’s GDP per capita is projected to almost double by 2040, according to forecasts from the UK-based Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR).

CEBR expects Azerbaijan’s GDP per capita to reach $7,365 in 2025, rising to $7,724 in 2026. The report predicts further growth to $9,120 by 2030, $10,732 by 2035, and $12,634 by 2040.

According to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy, GDP per capita is expected to reach $9,140 by 2029.

For context, data from the State Statistics Committee show that in January–November 2025, Azerbaijan’s GDP per capita amounted to 11,356.4 manats, roughly equivalent to $6,680.
