Azerbaijan’s national carrier, AZAL, is expanding its route network by launching direct flights between Baku and Tabriz starting June 15.
According to the airline’s press service, tickets for the new Baku–Tabriz–Baku route will go on sale on June 3, Caliber.Az reports.
Flights to Tabriz will operate twice weekly, every Wednesday and Sunday. In addition, AZAL is increasing the frequency of flights to Iran’s capital, Tehran.
The Baku–Tehran–Baku route will now be served four times a week, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Tickets for all flights can be purchased via AZAL’s official website www.azal.az, through the airline’s mobile app, at ticket offices, or authorised AZAL agents.
