Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports near $3 billion in first nine months of 2025
Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports reached $2.6 billion in January–September 2025, representing a 7.7% increase compared to the same period last year, according to preliminary data from the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications (CAERC), as reported by Caliber.Az.
Food exports lead growth
Food exports recorded a 20.5% rise, totalling $841.4 million over the nine months. Among key contributors, sugar exports grew by $14.9 million (46.9%), fruits and vegetables by $143.7 million (31.3%), chemical products by $45.6 million (22%), and cotton yarn by $2.7 million (12.5%). Tea exports increased by $159,400 (3.3%), aluminium and aluminium products by $3.9 million (2.6%), and ferrous metals and related products by $708,100 (1%).
Agriculture and agro-industrial exports
Agricultural exports rose 27.8%, reaching $667.1 million, while agro-industrial exports experienced a marginal decline of 0.1% to $233.1 million. Overall, combined agricultural and agro-industrial exports grew 19.2%, amounting to $900.2 million.
