Azerbaijan's non-oil exports to Ukraine exceed $40 million in two months
Azerbaijan’s non-oil and gas exports experienced a significant boost in the first two months of 2025, with exports to Ukraine skyrocketing by 2.3 times compared to the same period last year, reaching $41.2 million.
According to the March issue of the Export Review, published by the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communications, Azerbaijan's overall non-oil and gas export sector saw a 6.6% increase, totaling $485 million in January-February 2025, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The country’s primary export market for non-oil products remains Russia, though there was a slight decline in shipments to Russia, which dropped by 2.3%, amounting to $150.8 million.
Exports to neighboring Türkiye also showed a decrease, falling by 14.9% to $82.8 million. However, Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports to Georgia saw a notable rise, increasing by 23.3%, reaching %52.9 million.
Additionally, Switzerland emerged as a significant market for Azerbaijan’s non-oil products, with exports valued at $43.6 million during the period.
