Azerbaijan’s oil exports to Italy exceed $3.4 billion in first half of 2026

Azerbaijan exported 5,915,025.73 tonnes of crude oil to Italy in January-June 2026, with the value of these shipments reaching $3.495 billion, according to customs data.

Compared with the same period of 2025, the volume of products exported from Azerbaijan to Italy decreased by 13.3%, while their value fell by 3%, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Italy accounted for 58.41% of Azerbaijan’s total oil exports during the reporting period.

According to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported a total of 10,125,467.17 tonnes of crude oil and petroleum products derived from bituminous minerals in January-June 2026, with a total value of $6.231 billion.
