Azerbaijan's Shusha hosting 8th meeting of OTS education ministers PHOTO

The 8th meeting of the Education Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) got underway in Shusha on June 1.

The function is graced by President of International Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of Uzbekistan Kongratbay Sharipov, Minister of National Education of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Nazım Çavuşoğlu, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan Kairat Osmonaliev and President of the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye Erol Ozvar.

As part of the event, delegations from OTS member countries are scheduled to hold bilateral meetings.

According to Report, Azerbaijan's Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, delivering an opening speech, welcomed the guests and noted that the successes of the OTS were praiseworthy.

At the end of his speech, the Minister touched upon the goals of the OTS to develop cooperation between member and observer countries.

Other participants of the event then took the floor and touched upon the strengthening of cooperation in the field of science and education.

After the speeches, the agenda of the meeting was discussed.
