SOCAR, Technip Energies Italy sign memorandum of understanding PHOTO

Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company SOCAR and Technip Energies Italy S.p.A. have signed a memorandum of understanding as part of a meeting between representatives of both companies.

The document envisages identifying potential areas of cooperation within the framework of the Petkim Master Plan project, Caliber.Az reports.

During the meeting on July 9, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and Carlo Corsi, Chief Executive Officer of Technip Energies Italy S.p.A. discussed expanding cooperation between the parties.

According to SOCAR, the two sides expressed satisfaction with the successful partnership established over recent years and emphasised the importance of broadening mutually beneficial cooperation and identifying new areas for collaboration.

The discussions focused on improving productivity and energy efficiency, as well as potential cooperation in introducing highly flexible production solutions in the petrochemical industry.

Officials also exchanged views on opportunities for Technip Energies Italy S.p.A. to participate in SOCAR's international projects, as well as possible partnerships in the fields of green energy and decarbonization.
