Azerbaijan's Space Agency to render satellite services in Botswana
The Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport has announced that Botswana will get communication and information services through the Azerspace-1 satellite.
Azercosmos and the Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana have signed a long-term partnership agreement, Caliber.Az reports citing the local media.
Azercosmos currently renders satellite services to 6 out of 13 Southern African countries. This collaboration with Botswana will further expand the use of Azerspace satellite services in large-scale information projects across Southern Africa," the message said.
