Azerbaijan sees substantial growth in salaries of economic sector's employees

The average monthly nominal salary of employees in Azerbaijan’s economic sphere totalled 1,007.5 manats ($592.6) from January to April 2024, having risen by 10.2 per cent compared to the same period of last year.

In the reported period, the average salary in such spheres of economy as an extractive industry, financial and insurance activities, professional, scientific and technical activities, information and communication, as well as in transport and warehouse sectors was even higher, Caliber.Az reports, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.
