Azerbaijan, Serbia discuss economic partnership
Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has held a video conference with his Serbian counterpart Adrijana Mesarović.
“During a video conference with Adrijana Mesarović, Serbia’s Minister of Economy, we discussed prospects for joint activities, opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in trade, investment-s, and industry and further strengthen our economic partnership,” Jabbarov wrote on his X page, Caliber.Az reports.
Azerbaijan and Serbia have developed a robust economic partnership, marked by strategic collaboration across multiple sectors. Since establishing diplomatic relations in 1997, the two countries have signed 42 bilateral agreements, including those on strategic partnership, trade and economic cooperation, investment protection, and international road transport. These agreements serve as the foundation for a strong partnership, fostering cooperation in political, economic, and cultural spheres.
