Azerbaijan showcases domestic goods at int'l exhibiton in Germany PHOTO
Azerbaijani products aroused great interest at the traditional exhibition "International Green Week" held in Berlin.
According to Report, the announcement came from the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), operating under Azerbaijan’s Economy Ministry.
15 Azerbaijani companies producing wine, dried fruit, mineral water, meat and meat products, salt, tea and confectioneries are exhibiting their products on a single domestic stand under the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand. Visitors can also get acquainted with the national cuisine of Azerbaijan.
On the first day of the exhibition, the Azerbaijani stand was visited by Georgian Agriculture Minister Otar Shamugia, Uzbek Minister of Agriculture Aziz Voitov, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany Nasimi Aghayev and others. The AZPROMO chairman Yusif Abdullayev informed the visitors about Azerbaijan’s non-oil export potential and export geography, as well as about the existing investment and business opportunities.
Azerbaijan is taking part in the International Green Week exhibition for the 13th time. This year, more than 4,000 companies from 60 countries are taking part in the exhibition, which runs until January 29.
