Azerbaijan showcases tourism potential at promotional events in Germany
The Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau has organised a series of promotional events in Germany aimed at highlighting the country’s tourism offerings and attracting international visitors.
According to State Agency for Tourism of Azerbaijan, the events were held from April 20 to 22 across the cities of Würzburg, Frankfurt, and Trier, Caliber.Az reports.
During the presentations, Azerbaijan was promoted as an attractive year-round destination, with a focus on diverse travel experiences including city tours, cultural tourism, Silk Road heritage routes, mountain hiking, and winter tourism opportunities.
The events brought together more than 100 travel companies and tour operators, facilitating business-to-business (B2B) meetings and networking opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the tourism sector.
The agency also reported a significant rise in German visitors, with 5,024 tourists from Germany traveling to Azerbaijan between January and March 2026—an increase of 76.5 per cent compared to the same period last year.
