Azerbaijan strengthens industrial safety, occupational health with new accord
The Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), and the State Agency for Occupational Safety in Industry and Mining have signed a trilateral memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration in the fields of industrial safety, occupational health, and environmental protection.
The agreement was finalised during the III Industrial Safety Summit held in Baku, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The memorandum was signed by Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Tapdyg Amiraslanli, SOCAR Vice President for Operational Support, Health and Safety Fuad Musayev, and Orkhan Khalilzade, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association.
The MoU aims to strengthen joint efforts to implement international best practices in workplace safety, health standards, and environmental stewardship across Azerbaijan’s industrial and energy sectors.
