Azerbaijan strengthens ties with bp through green energy dialogue

Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov met with Gordon Birrell, Executive Vice President for Production and Operations at bp, to review cooperation priorities and green energy initiatives with bp, the minister wrote on X.

Jabbarov noted that, during the meeting, they examined the key priorities on the cooperation agenda, Caliber.Az reports.

“Discussions focused on increasing efficiency across ongoing projects, advancing joint green energy initiatives, improving work processes in line with global industry standards, accelerating decarbonisation in oil and gas operations, and creating greater real value through innovative approaches,” Jabbarov stated.
