Baku, Dushanbe focus on boosting bilateral economic cooperation
Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov met with Tajikistan’s Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurahmon Abdurahmonzoda, to exchange views on strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
“During the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group, we met with Abdurahmon Abdurahmonzoda, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan,” Jabbarov wrote on his X page.

The discussions focused on key areas of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan. Particular attention was given to strengthening joint activities in trade and investment, expanding cooperation in industry, energy, transport and logistics, as well as deepening business ties across other sectors, the minister added.
