Azerbaijan, TikTok mull possible ways of cooperation

Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov met with Vice President of TikTok Helena Lersch within the framework of the 54th session of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

"On the margins of the World Economic Forum in Davos, I held a meeting with Vice President of TikTok Helena Lersch. During the conversation, we discussed initiatives undertaken in Azerbaijan to develop the startup ecosystem, the activities of the TikTok Startup Academy, the importance of social media platforms for demonstrating business potential and possible areas of cooperation," Jabbarov wrote, per Caliber.Az.

Jabbarov also met with Morten Dyrholm, vice president of Vestas Wind Systems.

"On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, I met Morten Dyrholm, Vice President of Vestas Wind Systems A/S. During the meeting, we highlighted the growing importance of sustainable energy sources in the context of climate change. We also discussed current alternative energy projects in our country, the introduction of 'green' technologies and opportunities for cooperation in the use of wind power," the minister wrote.
