Azerbaijan to allocate over $200 million due to minimum wage increase

Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security Anar Aliyev has said that about 440 million manats ($258 million) will be allocated due to the increase in the minimum salary.

Aliyev made these remarks at a briefing on January 5, according to Trend.

He noted that the minimum salaries of 440,000-450,000 people working in the public sector will increase.
