Azerbaijan to build first seismic station in Shusha

Azerbaijan will build the first seismic research station in Karabakh in Shusha to mark the 100th anniversary of great leader [late Azerbaijani president] Heydar Aliyev.

The remarks came from Gurban Yetirmishli, the director-general of the Republican Seismological Service Center at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, at a press conference on April 19, according to Report.

"A new station will be built in the vicinity of the city. In general, 10 such stations will be established to research the liberated territories," Yetirmishli said.
