Azerbaijan to build two solar power plants in Nakhchivan New deal worth $35 million
Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has signed agreements with representatives of the energy company Enerso on building two 25 MW solar power projects in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
“We have signed investment, electricity sales, and grid connection agreements with Enerso LLC for the 25 MW Qərbi Üfüq solar power plant project, and with CEI Nakhchivan LLC for the 25 MW Şəms-1 solar power plant project in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic,” Shahbazov wrote on X, Caliber.Az reports.

“These projects, with a total investment value exceeding 60 million manats ($35.3 million), represent an important step implemented through private investment to develop Nakhchivan as a green energy zone,” the minister stated.
