The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads plans to complete the construction of the Fuzuli-Hadrut highway in 2022.
The four-lane road will be 12 kilometres long and 14 metres wide, Caliber.Az reports, quoting the head of the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads press service, Anar Najafli.
The road starts from the Victory Road leading to Shusha city and ends with a connection to the Shukurbayli-Jabrayil-Hadrut highway. The Fuzuli-Hadrut road passes through the territory of Azerbaijan's Fuzuli and Khojavand districts, he said.
At the moment, work on widening the road profile, creating an earth base, laying drainage pipes, and constructing a double-span bridge at 6.7 kilometres of the road is ongoing, Najafli noted.
