Azerbaijan to develop wind power plant with capacity of 240 MW Presidential order

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree “On additional measures for the implementation of a pilot project for the construction of a wind power plant with a capacity of 240 MW.”

The relevant information is posted on the official website of the Azerbaijan president, Caliber.Az reports.

According to the order, the Cabinet of Ministers was instructed, together with relevant structures, to ensure that measures are taken to improve the necessary external and internal infrastructure in the project area, to connect the wind farm to the transmission network within the established time frame and with the specified parameters, and to carry out other administrative and technical issues necessary for the timely implementation of the project.
