Azerbaijan sends new diesel shipment to Armenia from Bilajari station Updated
Azerbaijan has dispatched another shipment of diesel fuel to Armenia as cross-border energy deliveries continue following the lifting of transit restrictions.
A train carrying 974 tons of diesel in 16 tank wagons departed from the Bilajari station of Azerbaijan Railways and is currently en route to the Boyuk Kasik station before continuing transit through Georgia to Armenia, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The latest shipment follows an earlier delivery on April 14, when 1,298 tons of diesel were transported in 22 tank wagons.

Azerbaijan is set to export diesel fuel to Armenia on April 21.
The delivery will consist of 16 railway wagons of diesel fuel, which are scheduled to be transported to Armenia by rail, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
It should be recalled that in October 2025, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced the lifting of restrictions on the transit of goods to Armenia.
Direct deliveries from Azerbaijan to Armenia began on December 18, 2025.
To date, 6,312 tonnes of diesel fuel, 979 tonnes of AI-92 petrol and 2,955 tonnes of AI-95 petrol have been exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
Most recently, on April 14, a 22-carriage train carrying 1,298 tonnes of diesel fuel was dispatched from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
